1041 E-file: Preparing the Electronic Part of the Extension

You must create a data file for every locator you wish to e-file. The following major tasks to create a data file are detailed below:

• Ensure that the “Auto Compute” is activated.
• Enable e-file.
• Enter PIN information.
• Enter any additional information.
• Review e-file diagnostics.
• Create an e-file for the extension.
