This document provides interim release notes and known issues for 1120, version 21-7.2F.

New for Tax Year 2020

Web Organizer

For the tax applications, you will experience changes that we have made to update the screens for a more standardized and modern look and feel. The navigation, screen locations, and data entry are all the same.

Differences between Web Organizer and Classic Organizer

After you delete a navigation node item, you will see a blank screen on the right.

When you right-click and select Related Items, the Web Organizer shows only actionable items. The Classic Organizer showed items even if you could not navigate to the landing page.

You have the option to send feedback. Go to the Help menu and select the feedback option to send an email with specific screen information from the server. This will help us better understand your feedback.

You only need to single-click to open a folder on the navigation tree. Double-clicking is no longer necessary.

FileCabinet CS Integration

We will not support integration with FileCabinet CS for Tax Year 2020 and subsequent tax years.

20-7.2F We modified computations for Form 1118, Schedule H, Part I to allow the amounts to consolidate in the top consolidation locator.

20-7.2F We modified print for all Idaho forms that allows other states to print when All States is selected from the print preview menu.

Massachusetts

20-7.2F We corrected the Tax Forms view for Schedule ABIE, Page 1, to populate the checkbox for Form 355U, Schedule U-E.

Nebraska

20-7.2F We modified computations for Form 1120N, Schedule II, line 5 to report federal dividends on line 16b.

New Jersey

20-7.2F We corrected computations for Form CBT-100U, A-4, lines 12 to 14 to consolidate in the top consolidation locator.

20-7.2F We corrected computations for Form CBT-100U, Page 27, Schedule 500U, Section C, line 2 to carry from line 14.

20-7.2F We corrected the print alignment for Form 320, lines 15 and 16.

South Carolina

20-7.2F We modified e-file for Form SC1120, Page 2, Schedule A and B, line 5 (Other Addition - IRC Section 163(j) interest addback) to include a description in the XML file.
