This document provides interim release notes and known issues for 1065, version 20-7.5F.

New for Tax Year 2020

Web Organizer

For the tax applications, you will experience changes that we have made to update the screens for a more standardized and modern look and feel. The navigation, screen locations, and data entry are all the same.

Differences between Web Organizer and Classic Organizer

After you delete a navigation node item, you will see a blank screen on the right.

When you right-click and select Related Items, the Web Organizer shows only actionable items. The Classic Organizer showed items even if you could not navigate to the landing page.

You have the option to send feedback. Go to the Help menu and select the feedback option to send an email with specific screen information from the server. This will help us better understand your feedback.

You only need to single-click to open a folder on the navigation tree. Double-clicking is no longer necessary.

FileCabinet CS Integration

We will not support integration with FileCabinet CS for Tax Year 2020 and subsequent tax years.

E-file is now available for all jurisdictions except for the following:

New York City: New York City IT-204-LL, New York City Estimates, New York City Extensions
Ohio Cities: Ohio Municipal Net Profits Tax (MNP)
Pennsylvania Cities: Philadelphia BRT. Philadelphia NPT

Closed Issues: State

Montana

20-7.5F We corrected an issue where Montana pulled the incorrect e-file date on the 1065 State Filing Instructions (e-file).

Ohio

20-7.5F We updated Toledo’s Municipal code to 4808 from 1707 (incorrect).

Oregon

20-7.5F We adjusted descriptions on Form OR-65 to correct an issue where not all characters printed.

Pennsylvania Cities: Philadelphia

20-7.5F We corrected the hyperlink on the Philadelphia BIRT-EZ so that it now links to the correct Estimated Tax Due screen.
